“Whether you think you can or whether you think you
can’t, you’re right.” – Henry Ford.

Cassie Jaye was raised to believe that anything was
possible as long as you set your mind to it, and she
still lives by that philosophy today. She was born on
an army base in Oklahoma. Her family relocated to a
suburb in Seattle, Washington, where she spent a
majority of her childhood. “Change was constant, but
always welcomed and appreciated. I loved meeting new
people, experiencing new things, learning, exploring…”.

Cassie’s road to acting began when she
was only 8 years old. She enrolled into Taproot
Theatre (a community theater in Seattle). Her
performances at Taproot, as well as being heavily
involved in her church choir and play productions, not
to mention the plays she would put on with her sisters
for the family and neighbors, all enriched her love
for acting. When she was 15 years old, she moved to
Las Vegas, Nevada and began taking film acting classes
and performing in numerous plays with the Palo Verde
HS Theatre Department. After graduating, the next step
seemed innate. She moved to Hollywood, CA by herself
at the young age of 18, not knowing a soul in town.
“The things that are hardest in life are what I love
the most, because that’s when you grow the most”.
Since she's been in LA, Cassie has acted in 7
features, countless short films, a Paramount Studios
greenlight pilot, the newest spoof movie "Superhero
Movie", and she's even started her own production
company, Jaye Bird Productions, in which she's
directing her first feature film.

“Being an actress is a 24/7 job. Everything you do in
life, from reading the paper to hanging out with
friends, you are honing your craft. Observation is
key.”
